Nena Art Resort Accommodation
Welcome to Nena Art Resort, a 4-daisy guesthouse opened in 2017 following the experience gained at the Sharaiman Guesthouse. Located in Dunavățu de Jos, the last locality directly accessible by car before entering the wilderness of the Danube Delta, our resort harmoniously blends traditional architecture with modern elements.
Nena Art Resort stands out through its own art gallery, which can also be used as a conference room. Here we organise annual painting camps with established artists, and their works, created locally, adorn the rooms and the gallery, offering you a unique cultural experience.
Compared to Sharaiman, the rooms at Nena Art Resort are more spacious and furnished with a special attention to comfort and detail.
The village of Dunavățu de Jos is the last one accessible directly by car, without the need for a ferry crossing, and offers direct access to the Dunavăț channel, which leads you into the wilderness of the Danube Delta.

We only stayed for a few days at Nena Art Resort, but this experience made us wish for a longer stay and, for sure, to return as soon as possible. The room was very clean, spacious, uncluttered and at the same time decorated with great taste and balance. Breakfast is filling, and the storceag [traditional fish soup] was downright delicious! The terrace on the pontoon, its decor and, above all, the music are very reminiscent of the Stuf terrace in Vama Veche.
