Perișor Beach

Discover Perișor Beach, one of Europe's last wild beaches, a secret realm of the Black Sea. Access to this unique beach is an adventure in itself, undertaken by boat along the mysterious channels of the Delta. Closely monitored by the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Administration, Perișor Beach is a rare and precious destination where nature is unspoilt and the peace and quiet is priceless.

This narrow beach, covered with hard, white sand and decorated with seashells of various sizes, is a hidden treasure nestled between two protected areas of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve: Sacalin-Zătoane and Periteașca-Leahova.

Near the picturesque Perișor beach, two protected areas of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Sacalin-Zătoane to the north and Periteașca-Leahova to the south, guard the natural beauties of the region. These areas, where access is carefully monitored and restricted by the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Administration (DDBRA), represent nature sanctuaries, keeping ecosystems untouched and diverse. The proximity to these protected areas adds an extra touch of mystery and splendour to trips to Perișor beach, offering a rare window into some of the most undisturbed landscapes of the Delta
